This beautiful light provides even lighting across the entire width of the music rack so you can clearly read every note. It's an accessory every pianist should have. The compact light tube is less than one inch in diameter and contains an array of 30 LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). The lights are recessed in the lamp eliminting glare and assure that you have light just where you need it. The lamps are battery powered using 4 AA batteries (included). One set of batteries can operate the lamp for a continuous 170 hours before brightness is about cut in half. An optional AC adapter is available.
The Standard light is 21" wide and clamps onto the top of music racks that are either flat on top or have just a slight curvature and are no more than 1/2" thick. Unfortunately it may not properly clamp onto highly decorative music racks that have an uneven top..
